ALPINE LAKES OF SAN GIULIANO, GARZONE' AND VACARSA<\/strong><\/h3>

Panoramic ring excursion, of great satisfaction. It starts directly from Caderzone Terme (850 mt) up to Pozza delle Vacche (1.485 mt)<\/strong> where you can park. From here take the trail n. 221 up to Malga Campastril (1830 mt)<\/strong> where you arrive to the lake of Vacarsa<\/strong>. Continuing up you reach the highest point \"Bochet de l'Acqua Fredda\" (2184 m)<\/strong> surrounded by wild bushes of black blueberry, cranberry and rhododendron<\/strong>. From here you can already admire the enchanting glacial basin with the two lakes Garzon\u00e8 and San Giuliano<\/strong>. In between the 2 lakes is the ancient little church dedicated to San Giuliano, there is also the San Giuliano refuge (1960 m)<\/strong>, is open in the summer season.<\/p>

Near the lake of San Giuliano is the church-sanctuary<\/strong> dedicated to San Giuliano.<\/p>

The legend says that the Patron Saint, known for protection against snake bites, retired there for all his life.<\/p>

Then return to the parking lot, proceed along the trail n. 230 for Malga S. Giuliano (mt 1941)<\/strong> and Malga Campo (mt 1734)<\/strong>.<\/p>

Alternatively, the hike can be done anti-clockwise, starting from \"Poc dali Fafc\"<\/strong> to Malga Campo.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

PILGRIMAGE ROUTE OF SAN VILI<\/strong><\/h3>

The Spiritual Path<\/strong> takes its name from St. Vigilius, Bishop and Patron of Trento who, according to legend, walked along it during his evangelization work in the fourth century AD. The Path, which goes from Madonna di Campiglio to Trento passing through Caderzone, skirts the breathtaking spectacle of the Brenta Dolomites, encounters beautiful natural landscapes and crosses fascinating villages with ancient traditions and tasty local products. Our hotel has an agreement with the walkers of San Vili.<\/strong>.<\/p>


CURIO Plain and the ROUTE OF THE STALES<\/strong><\/p>

From the center of Caderzone Terme, continuing towards north along the provincial road, before crossing the bridge over the Sarca river, a road that branches off to the left leads to the large agricultural area called \"Piana di Caderzone\"<\/strong> or \"Piana di Curio\"<\/strong>, which takes its name from the ancient farm.<\/p>

The route starts from the granite fountain near the Hotel Rio, taking the road on the right you enter into the large Plain still used for grazing and free-range farming: its origin is to be attributed to the alluvial filling of an ancient lake that occupied most of the upper valley. The agricultural economy of Caderzone Terme is concentrated in the plain: we can admire old farmhouses characterized by massive walls and wooden superstructures to store hay such as Maso Curio, evidence of Rendena's agricultural architecture dating back to the fourteenth century. Continuing between rustic houses and farmhouses (where you will see on the left the \"forgotten lazaretto\"), near the wooden footbridge you will take the bike path to Pinzolo. Passing by the Sarca river along the cycle path you come back to Caderzone Terme.<\/p>

SANCTUARY OF THE MADONNA DEL POTERE (Carisolo)<\/strong><\/p>

Continuing along the bicycle path, near the Casa di Riposo Collini, turn left on the bridge and continue in the direction of the soccer field of Carisolo. After the soccer field you arrive at the Small Sanctuary of the Madonna del Potere<\/strong>, built between 1804 and 1825, which originally was a small \u201cchurch station\u201d dating back to the 16th century.<\/p>


CHURCH OF S. STEFANO (Carisolo)<\/strong><\/p>

From the parking lot of the Church of the \u201cMadonna del Potere\u201d, take the path on the right where the \u201cVia Crucis\u201d begins, leading to the beautiful Church of S. Stefano<\/strong>. The path continues until it crosses the cobbled road that leads to the church perched on a granite cliff, which dominates the opening of the Val di Genova.<\/p>

On the way up, one can admire the park with its hundred years old chestnut trees, and also the fascinating stations of the via crucis.<\/p>

The external facade is entirely frescoed with splendid paintings by Simone Baschenis<\/strong> with his Danza Macabra, immortalized Death admonishing those who are still alive and the seven deadly sins. Inside Baschenis realized in 1534 the great fresco of Carlo Magno<\/strong>, which gives great artistic value to the church. Legend has it that before arriving in Pinzolo, Carlo Magno saw a small isolated church on top of the rocks, he went there and left a document with the story of his adventures.
Not to be missed is the\u00a0Church of S.Vigilio in Pinzolo<\/strong>\u00a0with its\u00a0Danza Macabra<\/strong>\u00a0on the outside wall, and also the Church dedicated to\u00a0S. Antonio Abate<\/strong>\u00a0in the village of\u00a0Pelugo\u00a0<\/strong>, also frescoes by Baschenis.<\/p>


S. MARTINO HERMITAGE (Val di Genova - Carisolo)<\/strong><\/p>

From the Church of S. Stefano on the right, just in front of the fountain, take the small steep road on the right hand side, and you will find a sign \u201cEremo di S. Martino\u201d. Then follow the steep trail which leads to the \u201cEremo di S. Martino\u201d (1226 mt). The legend says that the hermit lived on bread that a tame bear brought him and his death was miraculously announced by the avornielli (laburnum flowers) that bloomed in January. This is a fascinating route, especially in spring and autumn when the woods are abundant with intense and lively colours. The path is panoramic and could be difficult for the less experienced walker, there are a couple of sections that are a bit exposed, but well protected by ropes.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
